This is an ongoing research and development project intended to explore the possibility of naturally occurring artificial general intelligence that emerges purely as a result of environmental and sexual selective pressures on technocytes (imperfect replicators in a software environment), as well as the possibility of divergent evolution at the cognitive level by exposing technocyte clusters to choices with migratory consequences and then comparing the possible differences in the cognition of each population group that may emerge generations after founder effects occur.
This project is an offshoot of Project Absolute, and has in turn, spawned 2 of its own offshoots, known as Project Memoria and Project Rogue.
